PREY : 99% of giant panda's diet is leaves, stems, and shoots of bamboo and the other 1% is flower, vines, grass and fruits, so Pandas don't eat other animals, they are herbivores. However, pandas are made to be carnivores. Their closest animals are carnivores as well. According to a study, it may have had to do with deactivation of an umami taste receptor gene.
PREDATORS : Luckily, giant pandas face very few predators since they are big and formidable, but some animals can prey on their cubs. Some examples are jackals, snow leopard, yellow-throated martens.
